The teardown revealed that many of the phone's components can be easily replaced, marking it to be one of the handsets which can be easily repaired.

Last week, iFixit, a well-know repair and teardown website published its teardown of the Google’s newly launched Pixel smartphone on its website.

The teardown conducted on the phone revealed that many of the phone’s components can be easily replaced, making it easy to repair compared to Apple’s iPhone 7 handset. Moreover, the teardown also highlighted the Taiwanese company HTC-built battery with a pull tab, again easy to remove and repair.

However, in the teardown iFixit was able to find a negative point about Pixel’s display. According to iFixit, Pixel display comes in a thin frame, thus the phone is vulnerable to bend and damage.
