OnePlus 6 receives Android P Beta 2 update

Some of the bugs in the OnePlus 6 have been fixed now as it has received Android P Developer Preview 2 update from the company.

OnePlus 6 undoubtedly created a stir in the market on its arrival with its premium features and elegant design. However, the flagship offering had a few bugs resulting in inconvenience among users in several instances while using it. Some of the bugs in the OnePlus 6 have been fixed now as it has received Android P Developer Preview 2 update from the company.

For the users who want to fetch this update on their OnePlus 6, you need to factory reset your phone and the instructions are needed to be followed. It has addressed the issues associated with the face unlocking feature of the smartphone along with stability glitches with the camera and compatibility issues related to apps have also been rectified.

The Android P Beta 2 update for OnePlus 6 adds a feature to control the visibility of toggle for the notch, ambient display settings have been improved and custom accent colour selection is also available now. Moreover, with the new update, the smartphone received Google Lens integration in the standard camera app for visual recognition.

The OnePlus 6 has been priced at Rs 34,999 for the base variant which sports 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM while the Avengers special edition featuring 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM demands Rs 44,999.
