Various e-commerce platforms in India keep offering seasonal discounts frequently to clear old stocks. Flipkart is presently offering hefty discounts on electronics with its ‘Super Value Week.’ lasting until 24th June, 2018. The smaller Pixel 2 with 64GB of storage, which carried an original price tag of Rs 61,000, gets a flat discount of 14 per cent from Flipkart and now sells for Rs 51,999. Customers with an HDFC Bank Credit or Debit card can avail an additional discount up to Rs 8,000. Adding the Buyback Guarantee benefits will assure that the smartphone will not lose its value below Rs 35,000 over a period of six months from the date of purchase. Therefore, the Pixel 2 64GB is essentially available for Rs 8,999, if you are willing to upgrade within a period of six months.

Similarly, the Pixel 2 128GB variant with a buyback discount of Rs 42,000 and a discount of Rs 8,000 brings down the effective price of the handset to Rs 10,999 from the original price of Rs 70,000.

The bigger Pixel 2 XL, which costs Rs 73,000 for the 64GB storage, gets a cashback of Rs 10,000 for HDFC Bank credit and debit card customers. Additionally, Flipkart offers a flat discount of Rs 16,001. The benefits of Rs 37,000 of the Buyback Guarantee program bring down the effective price to Rs 10,000.

The 128GB variant of the Pixel 2 XL is available with an HDFC cashback of Rs 8,000 and a flat discount of Rs 16,001. The Buyback Guarantee Program with a benefit of Rs 44,000 brings down the effective price to Rs 12,000 from the original Rs 82,000.

The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are powered by Qualcomm’s 2017 flagship chipset — the Snapdragon 835, aided by 4GB of RAM. The Pixel 2 sports a 5-inch OLED display whereas the Pixel 2 XL sports a 6-inch POLED display.
