OPPO A5s launched with waterdrop notch and Helio P35 chipset

The latest handset comes with significant upgrades over its predecessor the OPPO A5.

OPPO has officially unveiled the A5s in Taiwan and this handset is a successor to the A5. The new offering from OPPO comes with an Helio P35 SoC and a 6.2-inch in-cell display that boasts an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520. As of now, there is no word on availability and pricing. Also, it is unknown when the handset will make its way to India.  The handset, when launched will be available in two colour options — Black and Red.

The OPPO A5s boasts a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display that sports a waterdrop notch giving it an effective ratio of 19:9. The smartphone is powered by a 12nm octa-core Helio P35 processor that’s paired with 3GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. It can be expanded further up to 256GB by a micro SD card.

As far as optics go, the handset comes with a dual rear camera configuration that boasts a 13MP + 2MP sensors. For selfies, it uses an 8MP shooter.

The OPPO A5s comes with Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.2 and it is kept alive by a 4230mAh battery.
