Lenovo launches P2 with 5100mAh battery at Rs 16,999

The smartphone is the successor to the Lenovo P1 launched last year.

Lenovo has launched its P2 smartphone for the Indian market at a price of Rs 16,999 exclusively on the e-commerce website Flipkart. The smartphone is the successor to the Lenovo P1 launched last year.

As for the specifications, the smartphone sports a 5.5-inch FHD super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and 2.5D gorilla glass. It is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 4GB / 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card.

The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It offers dual SIM functionality with VoLTE support and Adreno 506 with UBWC @550MHz. It also features a fingerprint sensor on integrated in the home button.

The P2 comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and 5 piece composite les for HD recording. It also features a 5MP front facing camera. Camera features include dual flash, pro-mode, slow-motion, time lapse.

The biggest highlight of the device is its 5100mAh battery that claims to keep the device running for 3 days on a single charge. It comes with a 24W rapid charger that provides up to 10 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes.

The Lenovo P2 also comes with TheaterMax technology, that turns all your existing media and games into a large screen experience and responsive 3D gameplay. It can transform any content into a 100 feet cinematic screen (needs VR headset sold separately) and amplifies multimedia experience.
