The repair program is available worldwide and will cover affected iPhone 6 Plus devices for five years after first retail of the unit.

Cupertino tech giant Apple is known to introduce devices that come at higher prices. Most of its smartphones fall in the high-end category i.e. in the above Rs 50,000 category. However, it appears like the company plans to make some changes to the prices of its devices. Apple has re-launched the iPhone 6 in India at a price of Rs 28,999.

The re-launched iPhone 6 offers 32GB of internal storage and comes in a Space Gray colour variant. Previously, the device was only available in 16GB, 64GB and 128GB internal storage. The Amazon India’s website which showcases the sale of the iPhone 6 device suggests that it is merely an ‘introductory price’ and is a part of a limited-time offer.

The Apple iPhone 6 runs on iOS 10 and features 4.7-inch HD retina display, Apple A8 chipset clocked at 1.8GHz, 1GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 8MP rear camera and a 1.2MP front camera along with a 1810mAh battery.
