Xiaomi Mi Note 2, Mi 5s to come with iPhone-like 3D touch: report

Xiaomi's Mi Note 2 and Mi 5S are rumoured to launch in August 2016.

Xiaomi’s has been rumoured to be working on its new flagships, and now leaks have emerged online adding more credibility to it.

In a recent rumour reported by the Chinese website, Gizmochina, both the models, including the Mi Note 2 and Mi 5s will feature a pressure sensitive display. In addition to this, the sources claimed that the technology inside Xiaomi’s models will be far better than the one experienced on Huawei’s Mate S.

Mi 5S

The Xiaomi’s Mi 5 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x1920 pixels, a Qualcomm’s Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and may also sport a dual camera.

Mi Note 2

As for the Mi Note 2, the Note is expected to feature a 5.7-inch display, and will be available in three variants, including a standard variant with 1080p display and a 2K curved display, sporting two storage configuration of 64GB or 128GB.

The smartphone may also feature a 12MP camera sensor, a 4000mAh battery, fingerprint sensor, fast charging and up to 6GB of RAM.

The Mi Note 2 model sporting 4GB of RAM with 32GB of storage is expected to be available at a price of 2499 Yuan (approximately Rs 25,000), the 6GB RAM with 64GB standard variant at 2999 Yuan (approximately Rs 30,000) and the 6GB RAM with 128GB curved panel variant at 3499 Yuan (approximately Rs 35,000).

However, Xiaomi hasn’t made any official announcement on the Mi Note sequel. More information will be revealed closer to the launch.
