Sony Xperia L2 launched; available for Rs 19,990

The smartphone is available in Black and Gold colour variants.

The company feels that the phone is perfect for group selfies and gives the user an option to choose between portrait mode and group selfie mode.

Sony India has recently launched a new midrange smartphone by the name of Xperia L2. The smartphone has been priced at Rs 19,990 and is available in black and Gold colours.

The Xperia L2 sports a 5.5-inch HD LCD  and is protected by an unspecified version of Gorilla Glass panel. It is built around a MediaTek MT6737T chipset accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. Users will be able to expand the storage up to 256GB. The Xperia L2 is still powered by Android 7.0 Nougat with Sony’s custom launcher on top, which is a surprising as other midrange smartphones are being offered with Android Oreo.

As for the cameras, the Xperia L2 has an 8MP 120-degree angle selfie camera and a 13MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.0. The front camera gives the user an option to choose between portrait mode and group selfie mode. The Xperia L2 comes with a rear integrated fingerprint sensor. Lastly, the L2 is powered by a 3300mAh battery, which the company claims to keep the phone alive for at least a day.
