Samsung foldable phone with massive curved battery rumoured

A new report reveals that the battery of the foldable Samsung phone will be flexible.

Samsungs's foldable flagship Galaxy X phone is expected to go official in the initial months of 2019 alongside the Galaxy S10.

Samsung is widely rumoured to unveil a foldable smartphone called Galaxy X next year, which is supposed to be the company first foldable phone. The device will employ foldable display panels, which is expected to go into mass production this summer. While the tech world has been predicting a foldable device from Samsung for a long time, a new report reveals that the battery of the foldable Samsung phone will be flexible.

The report suggests that the Galaxy X will pack a large battery setup. Its capacity will be anywhere between 3000mAh and 6000mAh. In simpler terms, a foldable smartphone will require a large battery as its size when laid out, will be identical to that of a tablet. The handsets battery size is expected to be as high as possible, given the massive screen the Galaxy X will have - 7.3-inch. The size, however, is said to reduce to 4.3-inch after the phone has been folded. Furthermore, the report asserts that the Samsung SDI is developing a foldable phone with V-shaped battery.

Samsungs's foldable flagship Galaxy X phone is expected to go official in the initial months of 2019 alongside the Galaxy S10. As for the pricing, the foldable device could cost $1,850 (approximately Rs 12,6752).
