Report finds Redmi K20 top smartphone over 300 USD for Q3 of 2019

Launched in July 2019, the Redmi K20 Pro was the first from the brand with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip and is currently on sale.

Smartphone and TV brand Xiaomi's Redmi K20 Pro has become the number one smartphone above USD 300 in Q3 2019. This is according to the latest Canalys estimate, Smartphone Analysis, October 2019 which is said to cover over 60 countries in their analysis.

The Redmi K20, the first Redmi phone to contain the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, features a 48MP AI primary camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, along with an 8MP 2x telephoto camera and 13MP ultra-wide camera with a 124.8° field of view.

On the body, it has a 16.2cm (6.39-inch) 19.5:9 full HD+ AMOLED Horizon Display with minimal bezels on all sides. Coupled with a 20MP pop-up selfie camera, it has 91.9 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The device's Horizon AMOLED Display comes with 7th generation in-display fingerprint scanner and is protected by curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Launched in July 2019, the Redmi K20 is also currently under the 'Black Friday Sale'. Thus, it is available on discount of Rs 2,000 along with an additional Rs 2,000 Bump Up Exchange Offer leading to it being available at Rs 25,999 and Rs 28,999 for 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variant respectively (with an additional Rs 2,000 Bumped Up Exchange offer). The sale concludes today and spans across Mi.com, Mi Home, Flipkart, Amazon and all offline partner outlets.
