Hyderabad: Reliance Jio continues to solidify its leadership in the Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) segment in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh through its Jio AirFiber service, outpacing competition by a significant margin. As per the latest Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) subscriber data for February 2025, Jio has captured the lion’s share of the market in the 5G FWA space across the Telugu States.

Active Jio AirFiber subscribers in Andhra Pradesh telecom circle sharply increased from 4,27,439 (in January) to 4,58,372 in February 2025. In contrast, Bharti Airtel’s 5G FWA subscribers in the state were 95,164 in February.
With 84% market share, Jio is over 5X the subscriber base of the competition in this segment, showcasing its superior reach, infrastructure, and customer trust.
Jio’s rapid deployment of its 5G infrastructure, combined with affordable plans and a seamless customer experience, continues to attract households and businesses looking for high-speed internet solutions in urban and rural Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Jio AirFiber has truly been inclusive, especially across rural and semi-urban landscape as it overcomes the challenges of last-mile connectivity and connects every home and small business which earlier didn’t have access to quality home entertainment and broadband, due to the complexities involved in extending optical-fiber to their premises.
