Apple has launched its first foldable phone, the “iPhone Duo,” at an event in Cupertino, California, on Wednesday.

Apple says the iPhone Duo “feels exceptionally solid every time you use it.” The foldable features Ceramic Shield on the back and Ceramic Shield 2 on the front, along with an IP68 rating.

The iPhone Duo features a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR display. The larger screen offers 50% more display area than the iPhone 18 Pro Max and 80% more than the iPhone 18 Pro. The iPhone Duo also features a 5.4-inch outer display, offering 90% of the screen area of the iPhone 18 Pro for a familiar smartphone experience when the device is folded.

The iPhone Duo will be available in two finishes: Star White and Night Sky. It will be offered in four storage options.

Prices

The iPhone Duo starts at ₹2,99,900 for the 256GB variant, while the 512GB variant costs ₹3,24,900. The 1TB variant costs ₹3,74,900, while the 2TB variant is priced at ₹4,49,900.

Apple will begin accepting preorders on October 16, with the device officially available from October 23.
