Amazon Prime membership price to soar after October 31

Previously, Amazon prime was available to all Amazon users free for a period of 60 days before they had to pay a yearly subscription of Rs 499 a year.

Amazon’s Prime service has been lately gathering a lot of favour in India, thanks to impatient buyers and fans of Amazon prime exclusive shows. Now, after its widespread acceptance, they have had a bit of a rethink. Amazon has announced that they would be ending the introductory offer on October 31.

Currently, Amazon is offering unlimited free 1-day and 2-day delivery for 11 million products sold online along with free standard delivery without a minimum purchase, instant access to Amazon Prime Video with the latest movies and TV shows, discounts and special deals. For users who are yet to renew their membership or those who are looking to join the premium membership, they will be able to get a year’s subscription for a sum of Rs 499 till October 31, after which they will have to shell out Rs 999 for the same.

Do consider that you are getting a year’s subscription for faster deliveries, access to exclusive sales and free Amazon Prime Video subscription.
