Allo is an instant messaging mobile app developed by Google. It was announced at Google I/O on May 18, 2016. At the time, Google said that it would release Allo in summer 2016. The app will be available on both Android and iOS.

Google announced its new messaging app Allo at IO this year, but is yet to publicize the launch date of the app. However, we do have an idea when the search giant can roll out its new app.

Renowned tipster, Evan Blass posted on Twitter claiming that Google will be launching its Allo app this week.

Google’s Allo comes with features like voice message, Smart Reply, Whisper and Shout. It will further be equipped with an end-to-end encryption and incognito conversations. This will allow users to chat with their respective privacy. In fact, these conversations can even disappear like Snapchat. In this case, the users get to decide the expiration date of the chat.

This isn’t the first time Google tried delivering chat messaging services to the market. Previously, Google introduced GTalk and Hangouts. However, it didn’t receive as much prominence as WhatsApp.
