The Snapdragon 835 processor launched this year can run the full version of Windows 10, Qualcomm chip maker confirmed at the CES in Las Vegas.

“The Snapdragon 835 is designed to support next-generation entertainment experiences and connected cloud services for premium-tier consumer and enterprise devices, including smartphones, VR/AR head-mounted displays, IP cameras, tablets, mobile PCs and other devices running a variety of OS’s including Android and Windows 10 with support for legacy Win32 apps,” Qualcomm said.

Earlier in late 2016, Microsoft announced to be working with Qualcomm to bring the full Windos 10 on ARM processor for a longer battery life and better performance.

Although Snapdragon 820 processor can run full Windows 10, the Snapdragon 835 processor is said to be the first to bring the Windows 10 support to the retail market.
