Awesome! An e-scooter that does not need charging

As a part of the Indiegogo campaign, the CityGo scooter is equipped with a 300-watt motor that is activated when you propel the scooter forward using your foot. You need not make use of a throttle, key or switches.

The e-scooter makes use of a smartphone app that can be set in three modes, namely Novice (6 mph, 10 km/h), Normal (12 mph, 19 km/h) and Sport (15 mph, 24 km/h). The battery can run for approximately three hours and the distance is 16 miles. The app can also track routes, battery life and carbon dioxide levels you have saved. It further doubles as a key of sorts, letting you lock and unlock the scooter from its folded position. For brakes, you can press a lever above the back wheel which provides a power boost to the battery.

The CityGo weighs 21.6 lb (9.8 kg) and is meant for flat surfaces. The front of the scooter has a built-in strip of LED lights which lends it a very futuristic look. You can purchase CityGo Urban at $539 and CityGo Urban Pro at $629.
