Logitech has acquired premium audio production company Blue Microphones for USD 117 million.

The purchase made in cash will see Blue Microphones joining the computer accessory maker's existing portfolio of brands, The Verge reported.

Although it is a new space for Logitech to step in, the purchase of Blue Microphones is said to complement the company's line-up of streaming webcams.
