Grok AI Gets New Vision, Multilingual Audio, Real-Time Search Features

Elon Musk’s xAI on Tuesday announced the launch of Grok Vision, a feature that allows users to point their phones at objects, signs, or products and ask questions about them.

Users can access Grok Vision through the Grok app on iOS; however, it is not currently available on Android.

This feature is similar to the real-time vision capabilities found in OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini.

The AI company also launched other new capabilities for Grok today, including multilingual audio and real-time search in voice mode. These features are available to the SuperGrok plan users.

xAI has been steadily adding new features to Grok and reportedly plans to introduce more in the near future.

Previously, a “memory” feature was added to Grok, allowing the chatbot to remember past conversations with users. It also introduced a canvas-like tool called “Grok Studio” for editing and creating documents and apps.

xAI is also reportedly planning to launch a “Forget” button in the Android version of Grok, which will allow users to exclude certain chats from its memory.
