Tech giant Google is introducing a new feature in Gmail for users who feel overwhelmed by the large number of subscription emails cluttering their inboxes.
The new “Manage subscriptions” feature allows users to view and manage their subscription emails, enabling them to unsubscribe from unwanted emails — all from a single place.
“With the new “Manage subscriptions” view, you’ll find your active subscriptions sorted by the most frequent senders alongside the number of emails they’ve sent you in the past few weeks. Click on any of the senders for a direct view of all the emails they’ve sent. Easily unsubscribe in one click, and Gmail will send an unsubscribe request to the sender on your behalf,” wrote Chris Doan, Director of Gmail, in a blog post.
To access the new feature, click on the navigation bar in the top left corner of your Gmail inbox and select “Manage subscriptions” from the menu.
The feature has already been rolled out on the web version of Gmail. It will be available in the Gmail Android app starting July 14, and in the iOS app on July 21.
