Google Pixel 10 Series Features, Price in India, Sale Date

Google on Wednesday officially unveiled the new lineup of Pixel 10 smartphones in India and globally. The new series consists of Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold as its latest premium smartphones.

The latest models boast of efficiently integrating AI capabilities into their Android OS, powered by Google Gemini. "Pixel continues to be the best way for people to try out the latest bleeding-edge AI from Google," product manager Tyler Kugler said during a media briefing.

Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL are now open for pre-orders in India, with prices starting at ₹66,500, ₹83,000, and ₹99,500, respectively. Google has also offered a complimentary one-year subscription to Google AI Pro to customers who purchase the Pixel 10 Pro or Pixel 10 Pro XL.

Key features in the new models:

- Wireless charging with Qi2 built in.

- Powered by the Google Tensor G5 chip and Gemini Nano model.

- Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be the second foldable phone from Google in India.

- Smartwatch fitness tracking fine-tuned to distinguish between different physical activities.

- Gemini AI will detect the mood of the user and adjust its responses accordingly, and can even "look" through the phone camera to offer photo suggestions.

- New AI tool called Camera Coach to suggest the best framing, lens mode and lighting angle while taking pictures. 

- Super Res option that deploys a grab bag of software and AI tricks to zoom up to 100 times the resolution to capture the details of objects located miles away from the camera

- Another AI feature called Magic Cue designed to serve as a digital mind reader that will automatically fetch information stored on the devices and display the data at the time it’s needed.

Pixel 10

- New 5x telephoto lens with up to 20x Super Res Zoom for creating sharp, detailed photos at a distance.

- 11% brighter Actua display to be easy on the eyes, even in direct sunlight

- Polished back glass and satin finish.

- Metal accents are made from 100% recycled aluminum.

- Battery can last over 24 hours, and up to 100 hours with Extreme Battery Saver. And it can charge to 55% in about 30 minutes.
