boAt launches rugged speaker Stone SpinX in India
This cylindrical speaker is shockproof and IPX6 certified making it water resistant as well.
Popular audio brand boAt has added a new speaker to its portfolio in the form of the Stone SpinX. The brand has termed it as being swimming pool proof which means that it is rugged as well as water resistant. boAt claims that the Stone SpinX offers crystal clear sound and the cylindrical design makes it stylish as well.
The exterior of the boAt Stone SpinX is ergonomically designed which is emphasised by its edges. It comes in a tube design that’s made of ABS and fabric grill. The speaker comes with 6W dual dynamic drivers which are claimed to output a thump in each beat. The dual passive radiators allow sound to vibrate through the speakers. boAt claims that the speakers catch serendipity in every note of tenor, bass, snare, clap and lyric.
Another unique feature of the boAt Stone SpinX is the True Wireless function, where one can connect two Stone SpinX’s at once for a surround sound output. The speaker is also equipped with a mount screw that can be mounted on a cycle or a tripod.
The boAt Stone SpinX is shockproof and IPX 6 water resistant for easy portability. It can be connected to its Bluetooth v4.2 up to a range of 10 meters. Lastly, the battery found here is rated at 2000mAh that offers a playtime of up to 8 hours.
