ASUS unveils new gaming laptops for Indian gamers

The new models are designed to cater the growing fanbase of e-sports communities in India.

ASUS has been a prominent name in the gaming sector with their ROG series of gaming laptops and desktops. To keep themselves in prominence, the company has announced a slew of new gaming laptops in India, starting at Rs 69,990.

The ROG Strix series gets three new variants for the Indian market — the Strix SCAR Edition is meant for first-person-shooter games and comes with NVIDIA GTX 1070 dedicated graphics, up to Intel Core i7 processor, a 144Hz display and a special keyboard layout with N-key rollover. The ROG Strix HERO is meant for MOBA gamers and comes with a 120Hz display while retaining a choice of graphics cards from NVIDIA’s GTX 10 series and up to Intel Core i7 processors.

The Strix GL503 is supposed to be a portable yet high-end gaming laptop, with an average weight of 2.5kg, an RGB backlit keyboard and a choice to configure it with NVIDIA’s GTX 10 series graphics cards and up to Intel Core i7 processors. The ROG Strix SCAR and the ROG Strix Hero, as well as the Strix GL503, will start at Rs 92,990.

The company also announced the ASUS Gaming FX503, which comes with up to Intel Core i7 processors, NVIDIA GTX 1050 graphics and red-backlit keyboard, while tipping the scales at 2.5kg The Asus Gaming series FX503 will be available at a starting price of Rs 69,990.
