DIGISOL launches 300Mbps wireless range booster

DIGISOL Systems has launched its new 300Mbps wireless universal repeater – the DG-WR3001NE. It claims to enhance Wi-Fi range and improve the signal quality of the existing Wi-Fi network. The users can download, share and experience multimedia within the LAN. The DG-WR3001NE can work as an access point, repeater and as a wireless client.

The wireless repeater features an integrated power adapter and a compact design, the company claims that due to its compact design, the repeater can be easily installed in the location where the wireless signals are weak and need enhancement. The DG-WR3001NE supports latest IEEE802.11n standard and is backward compatible with IEEE802.11b/g standard.

DG-WR3001NE promises to provide wireless security to protect sensitive data from hackers and also maintain the confidentiality of the wireless network. This is achieved by using security protocols ranging from 64/128 bit WEP encryption to WPA2 Enterprise.

Moreover, the device also supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) function, which claims to simplify the procedure to setup a secured wireless network. With the dedicated WPS button on the unit, DG-WR3001NE can wirelessly associate itself with another WPS enabled network device securely.

And lastly, it features USB port for charging devices. The DIGISOL DG-WR3001NE wireless universal repeater is priced at Rs 1,499.
