Syska launches new anti-bacterial bulb at Rs 250

Syska Group has launched the Syska Bactiglow SSK-BAB-9W Bulb, which is said to be able to electrocute harmful bacteria present in a room. The bulb emits light in the wavelength of 400nm to 420nm to harm the bacteria. This will remain invisible to the human eye, however there will be minimum bacteria in a room as a result of it, says Syska.

It has been particularly designed for indoor use and can easily be installed in schools, colleges, commercial spaces, and at home. With 810° lumens, the 9W bulb will be able to provide bright light which covers a large area and will be able to detect voltage fluctuations and trips. The bulb will come with two modes, where one can choose either a lighting plus anti-bacterial mode or just the anti-bacterial mode. According to Syska’s Bactiglow has proven efficacy in electrocuting Aspergillus Niger, Bacillus cerus, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aurus, yeast, molds and a wide spectrum of harmful germs and bacteria.

With a years warranty, the bulb will sell at major retail stores across the country at a price of Rs. 250 .
