YI Technology (YI) a leading international provider of advanced, intelligent imaging technologies and solutions, on January 10th, 2019 announced the launch of the YI Home Camera 3, the latest generation of its best-selling home security camera, now with advanced AI-based notifications.

Featuring 1080P full HD video quality, a lightweight and versatile design, and advanced sound and human detection, the YI Home Camera 3 offers the ultimate in peace of mind. Notably, YI’s smart human detection technology ensures that customers only get alerts that actually matter, effectively avoiding "false positives" caused by flying insects, pets and light, or even photos of people. Similarly, the YI Home Camera 3 uses advanced sound detection algorithms to identify and instantly notify users of any unusual sounds within a range of 16 feet.

“No one likes getting inundated with useless notifications,” said Ron Fridental, Core Algorithm Developer at YI Technology. With our newest AI features, users can put notifications on autopilot and enjoy the benefits of home security without the hassle of fine tuning manually.

“In our continued efforts to make smart home security accessible for everyone, we will focus on delivering the best combination of quality and value through advanced AI integrations and edge computing,” said Sean Da, CEO, and founder of YI Technology.

The YI Home Camera 3 will be available in the US before the end of January at a retail price of $40. The YI Home Camera 3 comes with a complimentary 6 months cloud service. Footage will be stored for 7 days upon motion detection. Visit the YI Technology Home Security for more information. More updates on the India launch would be shared shortly.
