Zebronics has bridged the gap with the SmartTime 100 a bluetooth-enabled wearable that can be paired with any Android phone to make and receive calls and SMSs.

Many smart watches today work only with a small range of handsets.  The autonomous ones tend to be pricey.  Zebronics has bridged gap with the SmartTime 100 -- a Bluetooth-enabled wearable that can be paired with any Android phone to make and receive calls and SMSs. Since it has its own microSIM slot and a micro SSD card slot plus speaker and microphone, it can function independently as a watch, phone and health tracker combined.

The smart watch comes with 64 MB RAM and 32 GB storage, 0.3 MP camera and a 280 mAh battery.  The screen size is around 4 cms diagonal, yet the weight is just under 55 grams.  Features like FM Radio, video recorder, browser, pedometer etc are accessed by a sliding motion on the touch screen.  You can watch videos the SmartTime and take photos -- but the 240 by 240 pixels resolution of the screen and the sub-megapixel resolution of the camera are   just about OK. Healthwise, the SmartTime 100 offers a pedometer to monitor the steps taken as well as a sleep monitor to keep track of your sleep patterns.

At Rs 2,222, the Smart Time 100 is a good buy for those who want independent phone features on their health tracker so that they do not need to carry two devices while jogging.
