Will Trisha Contest By-Poll?

Actor-politician Vijay won from two constituencies — Perambur and Tiruchirappalli East — in the just-concluded Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, and will have to give up one of the seats. The big question is, will it be his friend, actor Trisha Krishnan, who will contest in his place?

While Trisha is not really keen on politics, Vijay and his TVK party members are reportedly trying to persuade her to be the party’s candidate at whichever constituency he relinquishes. The outcome of these efforts remains to be seen.
