Top Telugu producer TG Vishwa Prasad has confirmed that his team is in advanced discussions with Bollywood heavyweight Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions regarding the Hindi release of their superhero film Mirai

“Mirai has a universal theme,” says Vishwa Prasad, adding, “The discussions are progressing well, and we plan to screen the film for Karan Johar soon.”
After the massive success of Karthikeya 2 in the Hindi heartland, the producer is hopeful that Mirai will repeat the magic. “The Hindi-speaking audience has shown a great appetite for fresh superhero content, and Mirai is our next big offering,” he states.
Asked whether casting Teja Sajja, known for his breakout role in HanuMan, was a strategic move, he clarifies, “Honestly, we signed Teja even before HanuMan was released. He was cast while the film was still in production because he perfectly fit the ‘underdog-turned-superhero’ role; and he has done a fantastic job.” He sidestepped a question on the film’s budget reportedly exceeding Rs 60 crore, saying, “I would avoid quoting numbers.”
The producer had special praise for Prabhas, calling him “one of the nicest and most down-to-earth actors.” He’s confident that their upcoming film The Raja Saab will be a game-changer. “Prabhas will take on a new avatar. While the film will showcase his signature larger-than-life presence, he’ll also display his comic timing, a treat for both mass and family audiences.”
On Pawan Kalyan thanking him for extending help in releasing his film Hari Hara Veera Mallu, he said, “We are humbled.” The producer, who made Bro with Pawan Kalyan, added, “Of course, we would love to do another film with him, but he is busy with his varied commitments.”
Referring to Bollywood plans, Vishwa Prasad confirmed discussions with actor Abhishek Bachchan. “It’s too early to reveal details about our project with Abhishek, but yes, we are planning a full-fledged expansion into Bollywood with three to four Hindi films. We’ve already partnered with Mythri Movie Makers on the Hindi film Jaat, and we’re looking to build further from there,” he shares.
