Varun Dhawan Trolled for Wearing Shorts on Temple Visit!

Varun Dhawan has caught the attention of trolls with his wardrobe choices for a temple visit. The actor sought divine blessings earlier this week for his new film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai – but he chose to visit the temple in Mumbai clad in a vest and shorts.

“The least you could do is dress up appropriately for the mandir,” wrote one Netizen.

“Prabhu shirt toh pehen lete kuch toh dhanka pehen leta tu mandir ayaa hain Sirf batane ke leye jabarjasti kyu ateyy hoon yaar (dude, the least you could do is dress properly, why do something just for show?)” fumed an Instagram user.

Varun’s father, David Dhawan, who has directed Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, has, however, defended his son’s casual attitude. “Varun is very innocent. He has a very clean heart. He does exactly what his heart tells him to,” he said.
