Theft At Raveena Tandon’s Home

Jewellery and watches worth around Rs 25 lakh belonging to Raveena Tandon's mother have been stolen from the Tandon residence. One person has been arrested in this connection.

According to Juhu Police, the accused, identified as 47-year-old Rashi Chhabria, had been visiting the house since 2020. She had reportedly gained the family's trust by offering help and care to the actor's mother.

Raveena told this writer, “This was done by a woman whom we’ve known and trusted for years. She won my mother’s trust and then stole from her. We are all quite shaken. I don’t want to leave my mother in any outsider’s care. It is impossible to find trustworthy house-help, especially if you are a known name. They come with preconceived notions about our wealth. It is very scary. I am grateful my mom is safe.”
