SRK Turns Stunt Choreographer

Shah Rukh Khan is gradually inching towards a full-fledged direction. Close friends say he already has an idea for his directorial debut — something unorthodox yet massy.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is contributing to his home production King, which features his daughter Suhana Khan, far more extensively than just as producer and leading man. Recently, SRK and director Siddharth Anand shot several complex action sequences in Europe, with Shah Rukh personally choreographing the stunts.

A close friend reveals, “You would be surprised to know how much he contributes to his films without ever taking credit for his efforts. In King, his daughter’s career at stake. He is monitoring every department. Yes, he has choreographed the action scenes he shot himself, including those featuring Abhishek Bachchan.”

The stunts reportedly cost nearly Rs 60 crore to film. When it comes to budgets for one’s progeny, the sky truly seems to be the limit.
