‘Sreeleela-Tilak Varma Link-Up Rumours False’
The actress’ mom Dr Swarnalatha says she is focused on NEET-PG and films
Rumours linking actress Sreeleela with cricketer Tilak Varma are “completely false and baseless,” her mother Dr Swarnalatha said. “We do not know how such stories emerge. There is not even an iota of truth in reports.” She clarified that Sreeleela is currently focused on academics and her acting career, with no plans for a relationship or marriage.
“She is preparing for her NEET-PG examination scheduled in June. She has another five to six years before such personal matters,” Dr Swarnalatha added. Social media linked them after both visited Tirumala in December 2025 and after a team member wore a Tilak-linked jersey at a Wankhede T20 match.
“Both were coincidences. Social media unfairly spins stories from unrelated events,” Dr Swarnalatha said. Dr Swarnalatha recalled that Sreeleela was earlier linked with Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan too. “Kartik Aaryan’s mother and I are both gynecologists and meet professionally because of our medical background. Unfortunately, people began linking Sreeleela and Kartik as well,” she said.
