Sam’s Schedule Chock-full of Tough Stunts
Lee Whitaker’s choreography has got her working her hardest thus far, says the actor
Samantha, who flew to Hyderabad after a brief honeymoon to shoot for her new production Maa Inti Bangaram, is fully in action mode. For the whole of December, Samantha will shoot the toughest action scenes attempted by a female hero in Indian cinema.
Says Samantha, “The stunt choreographer Lee Whittaker is here for just a month and we have to finish all our work with him within that timespan in one go. Hyderabad is so cold these days, I have to work doubly hard to keep my reflexes on alert.”
While Whittaker coordinated the stunts for Kamal Haasan in Vishwaroopam and Rajinikanth in Lingaa, Samantha has performed complicated stunts for her now husband Raj Nidimoru’s The Family Man and Honey Bunny.
The actor, however, says the earlier stunts were a cakewalk compared to the ‘achewalk’ she’s now undertaking! “Physically, this is going to be the toughest month of my life. Wish me luck,” she signs off.
