Her maiden production, the Telugu horror comedy, Shubham, has received a moderate opening of `4 crores, thanks to positive word of mouth. Taking to Instagram, Samantha dropped several pictures from the release, thanking viewers for watching and celebrating Shubham.
Actor Ram Charan, who starred with Samantha in Rangasthalam, wrote, “Hearing amazing things. I cannot wait to watch it.”
However, it was the presence of filmmaker Raj Nidimoru in the photo dump shared by Samantha which captured special attention. Netizens were quick to read between the lines of her post — “Our very first step-fuelled by heart, madness and the belief that new, fresh stories matter!... The journey has begun. What a start!”
They felt it could be a reference to the start of a new chapter in her personal life. There has been constant speculation on the growing closeness between Samantha and The Family Man director. The two have been spotted together on many occasions.
