Salman, Sister Summoned in Rs 3-Cr Fraud Case

A Chandigarh court has issued summons to Salman Khan, his sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri, and the directors of Style and Content Jewellery Pvt Ltd in connection with an alleged Rs 3-crore cheating case linked to the Being Human Jewellery brand. The matter is listed for hearing on October 5.
The complaint was filed by Chandigarh businessman Arun Gupta, who claims he invested nearly Rs 3 crore in 2018 to open an exclusive Being Human Jewellery franchise. Gupta alleges the company failed to supply the promised inventory and logistics support, adding that the office handling stock deliveries has remained shut since February 2020. He also alleged he was promised Salman would inaugurate the showroom, but actor Aayush Sharma attended instead.Earlier, representatives for the brand said Salman had no direct role in the retail operations.
