Salman Opens Up About Loss, Loneliness And A Life Of Discipline
At the Red Sea Film Festival, the actor opened up about losing friends, years of strict routine, and confronting career complacency
Making an appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival on Thursday, Salman Khan offered a surprisingly personal glimpse into his life, prompting a flurry of clips across social media.
Speaking about the pressures and solitude that come with stardom, the actor revealed he has lost several close friends over the years and now counts only “four to five” who have stayed with him long-term.
He also shared how rigid his lifestyle has become. “Twenty-five, twenty-six years ho gaye… main kahin bahar dinner pe nahi gaya,” he said. Does he regret the isolation? Salman said he doesn’t. “Either you choose to go out and wander, or you choose this life. I choose this because of the love and respect people give me. Itni izzat dete hain, pyaar dete hain… ussi ke liye mehnat karta hun,” he added, admitting that he slips into complacency at times.
