Rajinikanth at 50; Best Wishes Pour In for ‘Thalaivar’
Fans and stars celebrate Thalaivar’s golden jubilee with rituals, tributes, and well-wishes
On August 15, Rajinikanth is celebrating a remarkable milestone: 50 years in cinema. Coinciding with this special year, his latest film, Coolie, is set for release on August 14.
Ahead of Coolie’s release, the star’s fans have been organising activities in celebration. These range from special temple poojas for the film’s success and the actor’s health to organising Annadhanams and performing rituals like ‘Mann Soru’ (eating food from the ground) and ‘Angapradatchanam’ (rolling on temple grounds).
Film and political celebrities have also taken to social media to pay tribute to the superstar on the completion of his “glorious 50 years” in cinema.
