Mrunal Thakur is making it clear that being called “curvy” is not a backhanded compliment, nor a judgement on her work ethic. After earlier remarks about wanting to “set beauty standards” were twisted into claims she saw curves as laziness, the actress has set the record straight. “Curvy is simply a body type,” she explained in a recent interview, stressing that health and self-love matter more than chasing a single beauty ideal.
Known for physically transforming to suit her film roles, Mrunal says weight fluctuations are just part of the job. “What matters is my performance on screen, not public commentary on my body,” she added.
