Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s Koffee With Karan appearance sparked debate about their approach to marriage. Now, Rashmika is pushing back against unsolicited opinions about their relationship. “We’ve been bombarded with opinions, comments and unsolicited advice on all our profiles, mine and yours, unnecessarily,” she wrote on social media.

Clarifying the discussion about how often she had raised the subject of marriage, Rashmika said it was never about counting proposals or demanding a grand gesture. It was about taking time to understand each other and be sure they wanted a future together. “And we did. We chose each other,” she wrote.

She said their different approaches complemented each other, “I am all heart and he is the thinker — and we need that in each other’s lives.”

Rashmika was equally direct about criticism of her devotion to Vijay. “And yes, I am OBSESSED with my man. When did that become a bad thing?” she asked.

For her, marriage means choosing a lifelong companion. “If I’m not IN LOVE with the man I’m marrying, then why in the world would I marry him?” she wrote.

VIJAY’S MESSAGE TO THE CRITICS

Vijay has also responded to the scrutiny. In an Instagram post, he described Rashmika as his best friend and wife, making his position clear. “My best friend, my wife, my woman. One of the most beautiful parts of my life that I got absolutely right. “For all those concerned, we are both gloriously happy. I am blessed. “If it’s me and her against the world — so be it.”
