Kartik Aaryan Says No To ‘Border 2
But a solo-lead project with director JP Dutta is on the cards
Kartik Aaryan was offered a plum role in J P Dutta’s new war epic Border 2, but it’s Varun Dhawan who is now playing the part.
So why did Kartik turn down such a tempting offer? “Kartik is not doing any multi-starrers. He has no problems with working with other A-listers, but producers are confident enough to let him carry a film on his own shoulders, so why would he want to be part of a film that has other stars in the cast?” comments an insider.
The cast of Border 2 includes Sunny Deol and Diljit Dosanjh.
Meanwhile, a source close to Kartik says, “He was very keen to work with J P Dutta as he grew up watching his films. The two have now orally agreed to do solo-hero project together. Yes, JP is planning a separate film with Kartik.”
