Kangana Ranaut is ready to revisit two of her most memorable hits — she will begin work on the much-anticipated sequels Queen 2 and Tanu Weds Manu 3.

According to sources, Vikas Bahl has locked the script for Queen 2 and is currently on a recce in the UK. The shoot is expected to kick off in November 2025. Much like the original, the sequel will have a mix of Indian and overseas settings.

Once done with Queen 2, Kangana will move on to Tanu Weds Manu 3. “Anand L Rai has already written the script and plans to take the film on the floors by early 2026, after the release of his next directorial Tere Ishk Mein,” says a source.

The buzz is that Kangana will be seen in multiple roles in Tanu Weds Manu 3. Like its predecessors, the film will have a blend of comedy and drama.

However, another source warns that there is no official confirmation yet. “These projects are being discussed, but nothing is locked.” Having said that, the source adds, “Queen and Tanu Weds Manu are safe bets for Kangana given her past success with the teams. Many producers and actors remain wary of working with her because of her rants and industry feuds.”

Meanwhile, Kangana has just wrapped up shooting a thriller with R. Madhavan, directed by A.L. Vijay.
