The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has cleared Prabhas’ The Raja Saab with a U/A 16+ certificate, restricting viewership for younger fans. The film, reportedly the actor’s most violent to date, features intense action sequences that prompted the board to intervene. A source close to the CBFC revealed that certain shots were trimmed or removed, including a sequence showing a beheading and several scenes with excessive blood, which the board deemed unnecessary.

It remains to be seen how fans will react to the heightened violence when the film hits theatres and later, streaming platforms.
