Aamir, Gauri Tie Knot in Intimate Ceremony

Amid heavy monsoon showers, Aamir Khan married his longtime partner Gauri Spratt on July 5 in an intimate ceremony at his Bandra residence in Mumbai. The couple signed their marriage papers at around 12.30 pm, officially registering their marriage under the Special Marriage Act.

Keeping the celebrations low-key, Aamir and Gauri opted for a simple, home-style affair.

Around 100 guests attended the intimate wedding at Aamir’s Bella Vista and Marina Apartments in Bandra, including close family, childhood friends, overseas relatives and filmmakers Ashutosh Gowariker and Rajkumar Santoshi.

The indoor festivities continued uninterrupted despite the rain, although the Ambanis' convoy was briefly held up after a tree fell outside Aamir’s residence before it could enter the wedding venue.

All four children from the couple’s previous relationships were part of the celebrations. Aamir was joined by his children—Junaid Khan, Ira Khan and Azad Rao Khan—while Gauri attended with her six-year-old son.
