Aamir-Gauri Opt for Court Marriage

Aamir Khan is getting set to marry his partner, Gauri Spratt, on July 5. “It will be a very simple registered marriage at home, with just both the families and really close friends. We both want to keep it very basic,” Aamir told this writer.

With his wedding around the corner, Aamir has taken a break from work. He will return to face the camera for Raj Kumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots 2, a sequel to the 2009 mega-hit in which he played the mysterious prankster Ranchhoddas ‘Rancho’ Shamaldas. In the sequel, the character will be presented as a married man grappling with a midlife crisis.

Says Aamir, “I don’t know what Raju (Hirani) has planned. But yes all of us in the film have moved on in life, naturally! I was much younger back then.”
