Wimbledon: Garbine Muguruza wins her first title, beats Venus Williams 7-5, 6-0

This was Garbine Muguruza's second Wimbledon final.

London: World No 15 Garbine Muguruza outclassed Venus Williams after she defeated the American 7-5, 6-0 in the women's singles final. Venus took an early lead in the first set, when she was 2-1 up, but later on Muguruza came back to level the score 3-3.

From then on, it was the Spaniard all the way, as she went on to clinch the first set 7-5.

The second set was completely dominated by Muguruza, as she remained unbeaten in the set, finishing off with 6-0.This was Muguruza's second appearance at a Wimbledon final.
