Southern Region Powergrid Are Kabaddi Champs

Hosts Southern Region-I emerged champions of the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited Inter-Regional Kabaddi Tournament contested by 144 players in 12 teams at Firefox Sports & Resorts in Moinabad, Hyderabad. In the final, Southern Region-I defeated Southern Region-II with a 38-34 scoreline.
Earlier in the semifinals, Southern Region-II beat Northern Region-III 39-31 while Southern Region-I edged past Corporate Centre 42-41.
Lavan Kumar of Southern Region-I was adjudged Best All-Rounder of the tournament; Aman Thakur of Corporate Centre was Best Raider; while Clarex of Southern Region-II was named the Best Catcher.
