Hyderabad: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain Pat Cummins is immensely popular in India especially in Hyderabad. A video is doing rounds on social media of him playing cricket with government school kids in Hyderabad.
In the videos emerged on X, Pat Cummins can be seen in three roles - batter, bowler and wicket-keeper and in one of the videos, a student bowls to Cummins.
After Warner, Cummins is popular among Hyderabadis. SRH skipper was seen enjoying Hyderabadi biryani with his family, delivering pushpa dialogues and also speaking telugu.
Sunsrisers Hyderabad bought Pat Cummins for Rs 20.5 crore and he has led the team to playoffs.
Pat Cummins led Australia to win ICC World Test Championship and also World Cup over India. Now, fans hope that he could lead Sunrisers Hyderabad to win the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Sunrisers would be facing Punjab Kings in their league stage match on May 19. SRH will eye a position in the top two spot of the points table.
Sunrisers Hyderabad is in the third position with 15 points.
