Free air travel for Rio Olympics and Paralympics medallists

AirAsia has announced free flights across its network to medallists of the Rio Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Hyderabad: Recognising the talent of winners at Rio Olympics and Paralympics, AirAsia on Thursday announced a lifetime of free flights across its global network to the gold medalists.

“As a token of our appreciation, we will offer a lifetime of free flights to gold medalists. Athletes who won a silver medal would enjoy free flights for five years and those who got bronze medal can use free flights for three years,” said AirAsia CEO Amar Abrol.

He said athletes can fly to any of the 120 destinations within AirAsia and AirAsia X’s network in Asia, Australia, the Middle East and Africa.
