Hyderabad Junior boys emerged champions in the 40th Telangana State Junior Boys Handball tournament played at Hanamkonda in Warangal district.
With their performances Shanker (6), Santosh (6), Satish (5) sparked elation for Hyderabad and despondence to the Warangal unit as the former dashed their opponents’ dreams to clinch the title.

Also, Srinu Babu, Ravinder scored four each while Nayeb scored two for Hyderabad in key contributions. 

In the Warangal camp, Kamlesh and Amir top scored with eight points each while Krishna contributed with five points against his name.

The Hyderabad unit dominated their rivals throughout the match and led 18-16 at half-time.

 The results
 Final: Hyderabad 27 (Shanker 6, Santosh 6, Satish 5, Srinu Babu 4, Ravinder 4, Nayed 2) bt Warangal 21 (Kamlesh 8, Amir 8, Krishna 5).
 Semifinal-I: Hyderabad 32 (Srinu Babu 9, Ravinder 7, Shanker 7, Satish 3, Sai 3, Nayeb 2, Santosh 2) bt Nizamabad 14 (Rizwan 8, Owais 6).
 Semifinal-II: Warangal bt Ranga Reddy 16-14.
