Rio de Janeiro: Ace shooter Abhinav Bindra may have missed out on a medal but the hero’s swansong is bound to make fans further emotional about the remaining athletes in Rio. Apart from Dipa Karmakar, nobody is close to the gloss finish.

On day five, India will take on Argentina in the men’s field hockey event. They lost 1-2 to Germany on Monday.

Heena Sidhu will sharpen her eyesight in the 25m pistol (shooting) women’s qualification round. Atanu Das (archery) will test his skills in the 1/32 Eliminations. Dattu Bhokanal (rowing) will compete in the Men’s Singles Quarterfinals.

But the main highlight of the day will be the Bhiwani boxer Vikas Krishan. He will open India’s boxing campaign today.
